As soon as we stepped into Wholefoods of Newport we knew we’d be coming back. Lovely organic veg and most other bases covered, from beans to pasta to sauces to organic frozen fruit (which can be hard to come by).
They also have a well-stocked deli counter with lots of organic and local cheeses and fresh food to takeaway and have for a picnic lunch, perhaps?
The staff were really friendly and helped us out with our searches for specific items.
We even came away with a new apron! Looking forward to stopping and shopping here again in the future.

Parking
Newport is a tiny little town. There are a few on-street spaces available. However, it’s probably easiest to head to the main town car park of Long Street, which is close to all the shops and restaurants of town. [icon name=”person-walking” prefix=”fas”] 3 min walk
Or, if you fancy a stroll and an ice cream, you can park for free at the Newport Parrog beach car park 9 min walk or on the streets nearby.
